Hay Making - to make Hay


Cut (Mow) the tall grass using the Mower , turn the cut grass with the Tedder at least 3 times a day for the first 3 days, the grass changes from bright green to silvery green and dry - hopefully, this is hay, then turn hay gently for another 2 days - weather permitting! then row the hay up into manageable lines of hay called a windrow the right size so the Baler doesn't get indigestion or is left feeling hungry!
